There are many areas where your help would be invaluable. Most volunteer positions with Safe+Sound Somerset require various levels of training, especially those jobs that have direct contact with clients. The jobs available fall into three groups: those requiring only orientation training, those requiring 60 hours of Domestic and Sexual Violence Advocate training, and those requiring 60 hours of Domestic and Sexual Violence Advocate training plus additional specialized training.

We ask that you attend the scheduled in-person, virtual live, and online volunteer trainings as required for the position you are seeking, and that you commit to volunteer with us for a minimum of one year after training.

Please Note:

All volunteers must confirm that they have not been involved in any domestic abuse or sexual violence incidents within the last two years.
Current clients are not eligible to volunteer.
