**Please fill out and return this form to ensure you continue to receive informational calls** Morgan County Schools utilizes the School Messenger notification service to send you phone and text messages to provide you with important information about school events and/or emergencies. We will utilize School Messenger to notify you of school delays or cancellations due to inclement weather, as well as remind you about various events, including report card distribution, field trips, community events and more. In the event of an emergency at school, whether or not consent is on file, you can have peace of mind knowing that you will be informed immediately by phone. Emergency calls include weather closures, fire, health risks, threats, unexcused absences, and other situations affecting the health or safety of students and faculty. Student emergency calls will be sent to primary phone number and primary parent cell listed on the student’s record. Please make sure these numbers are updated with the school. Staff emergency calls will be sent to the primary number on record.
