Counseling and psychological services are provided by Hope for a Better Tomorrow professional staff or graduate interns. All staff therapists hold a master’s or doctoral degree with competencies in counseling or mental health disciplines and most are licensed or license-eligible in Wisconsin as mental health professionals.
License-eligible therapists hold an “in-training” license in the State of Wisconsin and are working toward completing their supervised hours commitment before obtaining the full State of Wisconsin license. License-eligible therapists receive additional supervised training by senior Hope for a Better Tomorrow staff.
Interns are graduate students who are enrolled in or have completed graduate coursework in counseling and are receiving additional supervised training by senior Hope for a Better Tomorrow counseling staff through arrangements with the interns’ universities. All therapists adhere to statutes of the State of Wisconsin and the Ethical Principals of the American Counseling Association and/or other relevant professional code of ethics.
Therapists at Hope for a Better Tomorrow strive to deliver the best possible care for their clients. In order to uphold this high standard, we ask for your signature to acknowledge that you are aware and agree to be under the care of a license-eligible therapist or graduate intern.
