YCAN works to increase the capacity of local agencies working with clients living in poverty.  

Park and Hot Springs County have numerous organizations providing intensive case management, whole family approach therapy, one-stop centers, or getting ahead classes.  

Each spring YCAN offers an RFP for these organizations to apply for CSBG funding to provide financial assistance to low-income clients, however, the grant requires a great deal of information on each client helped with CSBG funds so many of these organizations have partnered with YCAN to collect the information for the client file and process payments for their clients that are eligible.  

We require this Community Partnership Agreement to participate.  Each organization participating provides its clients with case management, fills out an online application for the client, and uploads all documents prior to submitting them to YCAN for review.  In return we determine if the client is eligible for CSBG financial assistance and have our processing center in Cheyenne process payments each Friday for eligible clients.

Once you have completed this form, we will send you the password-protected link to our application. Your staff can access the application and all the tools they need to help their clients apply online 24/7.

1. Once an application is submitted to YCAN, we provide an eligibility determination to ensure all required documents have been received and the client is eligible for CSBG federal assistance.
2. We review applications Monday-Wednesday of each week.
3. We email the case manager an approval or denial notice.

5. As an internal control, we use an outside agency, Align to contact the vendors and make payments directly to the landlord or vendor. Checks are mailed each (first through fourth) Friday from their office, Cheyenne.
