NOTICE OF INFORMATION TO ORGAN PROCUREMENT ORGANIZATIONS
Federal regulations require transplant centers, including St. Luke's Hospital, to share information about you with the Organ Procurement Organizations (OPO) after you receive your transplant. The information that is released to the OPO includes but is not limited to:

The OPO maintains this information as required to perform their organ procurement functions and document who receives the organs they procure.
The OPO may also communicate non-identifying information about recipients to donor families in an effort to inform them about general information about the donor.
