The KOOL Summer Program will be in-person this summer!
In Person Program Details:
Location: Human Services Center, 519 Penn Avenue, Turtle Creek, PA 15145
Time: 9AM-4PM, Monday-Friday (The end time has changed from last year for safety and logistical reasons)
Dates: July 2 —August 13, 2021 *CLOSED July 5th*
Grades: 1st-5th grade in Fall 2021
Cost: The Progam is offeres completely free of charge!
Enrollment is first come, first served so apply ASAP (however those that fit into the income guidelines may be considered first)!
Following CDC recommendations for COVID (details further in application)
Educational and fun activities
Math and reading lessons
Lots of physical recreation time outside
Arts and crafts, science, and cultural activities
Breakfast and lunch WILL NOT be provided. Parents must pack a lunch daily for their child. A snack will be provided.
Transportation to and from the Program is NOT provided.
Face coverings will be required, and other COVID-19 mitigation efforts will be in effect. KOOL will be held both indoors and outdoors. Students must bring a packed lunch. They will enjoy lunch and other recreational activities in our playground and other outdoor HSCC spaces as the weather permits.
Orientation will take place virtually and will include all Program information and a virtual tour of the building!
o Every family must have one parent watch the entire orientation video and sign a form stating you have watched the entire video clip.
o If you do not watch the orientation video, your child will not be permitted to attend the Program and your spot will not be saved.
o ALL families will be required to watch the orientation video, even if your child has participated in the KOOL Summer Program in the past.

After submitting your application, Program staff will reach out via phone or email confirming your child's enrollment status. If it has been longer than a week since you submitted your applciation, please reach out to Mallory at 412-863-6699 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Applicants will be accepted on a first come, first serve, however, families that fall below the following guidelines will be given enrollment priority. Grade of students will also play a role in enrollment in order to maintain appropriate classroom sizes.
