The university requires PCR-based testing. UWest hosts a free COVID-19 testing site, operated by Curative Inc. You can make an appointment at: https://book.curative.com/sites/33154.
You can find other free Covid-19 testing sites near you at: https://covid19.lacounty.gov/testing/ You can also check with your health care provider. The university does not accept results from self-administered, over-the-counter kits.
If your test result is positive, please do not come to campus and notify Reopening@uwest.edu as soon as possible. We recommend that you contact each of your instructors for assignments so that you do not fall behind in class.
