Hourly Wage: Payable in accordance with Peerstar’s normal
payroll practices. Travel time is paid at the minimum wage in effect at the time.
Hours & Location: Part-time (with the potential to go full-time). Hours vary.
Training: If you are not CPS certified, you must attend a two week CPS certification training session (the Pennsylvania approved 75-hour course required to be employed as a CPS) before beginning any work. If you do not successfully complete the training, you will not be eligible for employment. During training, Peerstar will pay you $105 per day, less applicable withholding taxes, to cover the time you spend in training and your meals. If you do not attend all required days of the training, you will be paid a pro-rata amount for the days that you attend. In addition, Peerstar will pay your tuition for CPS certification training and, depending on the location of training, may cover the cost of your hotel. If you leave Peerstar within 90 days of providing billable services you will be responsible to repay the full amount of your tuition. Please speak with Human Resources for further details.
PCB Certification: If you are not yet PCB certified, you must obtain your PCB certification. If you are unable to obtain your PCB certification within 6 months you will no longer be eligible for employment. Peerstar will pay the application fee at the current rate. If you leave Peerstar within 90 days of providing billable services, you will be responsible to repay the full amount of your tuition.
Vacation & Sick Days: Paid Vacation and Sick days are available to full-time staff. PTO for part time is available at the rate of ,03 times billable hours for part-time CPS.
Pay Periods: Peerstar pays employees twice a month (1st and 15th).
Healthcare Benefits for Variable Hour Employees: Variable hour employees must work an average of 30 hours per week during a 6 month lookback measurement period to be eligible for Healthcare Benefits under the Affordable Care Act. You will remain eligible for those benefits through the following 6 month measurement period at which time the hours are calculated again using the past 6 months in order to make a determination regarding your health insurance eligibility. Once you are eligible you may enroll the first date of the following month.
Additional Benefits: Cell phone reimbursement is $40 per month paid to you at the first pay period of the month, provided that you are working billable hours. Employees also are entitled to all benefits mandated by federal, state, or local law.
