• RAMP Certification Course Application

The RAMP certification course provides intensive instruction on using the RAMP as a participation-based assessment. The RAMP process includes guidance for collecting information about family priorities, everyday activities and routines, and child interests; an observation of the child and family engaged in a real-life activity related to a family priority; and guidance for developing participation-based IFSP outcomes. This course includes synchronous and asynchronous sessions.
  • Certification will be awarded only to participants who successfully complete all components of the course. Certification is earned by demonstrating proficiency with implementing all three parts of the RAMP during a real visit with a family. Alignment with the RAMP is measured by reviewing the completed RAMP workbooks and evaluating the quantity and type of information gathered during the implementation of the RAMP.  Additionally, alignment is measured by the quality of IFSP outcome statements generated using the RAMP and by reviewing the survey data from families who participated in the RAMP process.
