4. If you were selected to be a Commissioner, what types of activities would you like to be involved in; or what would your goals be as a Commissioner?
5. Tell us about your ability to relate to diverse groups of people such as people of different races, religions, and educational and economic backgrounds. Please briefly discuss a few examples that directly relate to this topic. If you have not had such experiences, please tell us why and/or how you would relate to teamwork in a diverse and inclusive environment.
6. What group(s) of people do you believe that closely identify with and/or feel comfortable representing?
7. Are there any past or present activities that you have been involved in that make you proud?
8. Do you think that you can be objective on issues related to discrimination? Tell us about situations in which you have experience being objective, neutral, and/or aware of and overcoming any bias.
9. Commission meetings are open to the public, are recorded/live streamed, and are scheduled monthly on the last Wednesday of the month at 4:30 p.m. On average, meetings last until 6:00 p.m. Does this time fit into your schedule?
10. New Commissioners will receive a "'new Commissioner training session," sometimes separated into 2 or 3 sessions. Is this something you can commit to?
