Submission Guidlines

PMH Journal welcomes essays, personal stories, blogs, and commentary pieces focused mental health. Please review our submission guidelines:

We will edit your content for clarity, brevity and style.

We will post content on our site and share them with our news partners – they also may publish them.

We will include your photo and name for publication unless anonymity is requested.

All submissions will be filtered through copyscape.com to prevent plagiarism.

If we do a substantial edit to a piece you contribute, we will give you the right to review it before publication.

We reserve the right to reject any submission.

Media Release Form:

I acknowledge that by signing this document and providing submissions to Peer Mental Health, it will be included in any and all Peer Mental Health promotional materials, public outreach efforts, and published on peermentalhealth.com/journal. Submissions may also be cross-promoted with our partners, news outlers, or other 3rd party promotional efforts.

Compensation

I acknowledge that I do not expect or require compensation of any kind monetary or otherwise for submitting content.

Covenant Not to Sue.

To the extent permitted by law, I specifically agree not to commence any legal action against the Organization arising out of or in connection with this Agreement. To the extent permitted by law, I expressly agree that if I commence such an action in violation of this Agreement, I shall indemnify the Organization for the full and complete costs of defending such an action and enforcing this Agreement, including reasonable attorneys’ fees (whether incurred in a third-party action or in an action to enforce this Agreement), court costs, and other related expenses.

Policies and Standards

I acknowledge I have read the Policies and Standards.

By executing this Agreement, I am expressly waiving my ability to obtain relief of any kind from the Company to the extent permitted by law. By signing this Agreement, I acknowledge that I was not forced or coerced to donate the aforementioned item(s).
