About Jamie:
Jamie Coscia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been providing individual, and group therapy to children, adolescents, families, and adults over the past 24 years. For the past 8 years, she has been concentrating on clinical work with mainly adults around trauma, anxiety, depression, and anger at Pinnacle Behavioral Health. She has been running weekly anxiety and anger groups for the past 7 years there. She is now offering an intensive course for people who are committed to learning more and want to take their lives to the next level and learn how to move beyond their anger.
Ms. Coscia approaches her work with clients from a place of gratitude and compassion. She finds it rewarding and humbling to be able to bear witness to her client's life stories and be asked to take part in the journey to help effect change. She works with clients to quell the negative self-talk, increase feelings of worthiness, and accept themselves more. These building blocks to success have been essential for her clients to begin to “live” and not just “exist.”
When people work with Ms.Coscia they enjoy the guidance she provides while also challenging them and being able to hold them accountable for achieving and maintaining their goals. She helps her clients feel more empowered and helps them expand their own thinking. Her empathetic, compassionate, energetic, and no-nonsense approach to helping people heal is both refreshing and extremely effective for her clients.
Ms. Coscia is trained in EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) better known as “tapping” and has incorporated this into her therapy and life coaching practice with much success. It allows her clients to move beyond feeling “stuck” in many areas of their lives.
