  • GIVE MEASUREMENTS INCLUDING THE TONGUE OF YOUR TRAILER (FOOD COURT SPACES ARE 12x12 or 12x 24) IF THE TONGUE OF YOUR TRAILER IS MORE THAN 12’ WHEN YOU SET UP TO SELL FROM THE SIDE OF YOUR TRAILER YOU WILL NEED TWO (2) SPACES WHEN SELLING FROM THE END OF YOUR TRAILER YOU SHOULD NOT BE OVER 24’ (LENGTH) or 12’ WIDE.

    ….SPACE AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE EACH YEAR DUE TO LAYOUT…GIVE MEASUREMENT INCLUDING THE TONGUE OF YOUR TRAILER.

    PLEASE ….WHEN YOU ARE SELLING FROM THE SIDE AND NOT THE END OF THE
    TRAILER (THERE IS A DIFFERENCE AND CAN CAUSE PROBLEMS ON SET-UP DAY)

    YOU NEED TO INFORM BOOTH COMMITTEE IF YOU NEED ELECTRICITY or WATER FOR YOUR SPACE. LIMITED BOOTH SPACES HAVE ELECTRICITY AND WATER. SOME SPACES DOES NOT HAVE ELECTRICITY OR WATER.

    ALL VENDORS (FOOD, A/C, COMMERCIAL OR CHILDREN’S GAMES WILL HAVE TO FURNISH A 100’ HEAVY DUTY CORD TO CARRY YOUR LOAD AND GET YOU TO THE LIMITED OUTLETS). YOU MUST SUPPLY YOUR OWN WATER HOSE AS
    WELL.

    **APPLICATIONS WILL HAVE TO BE RECEIVED BY MAY 1, 2023 IN OUR OFFICE. IF, YOU ARE REQUESTING SAME BOOTH SPACE FROM 2022.

    BOOTH ASSIGNMENTS WILL BEGIN EARLY. PLEASE GET YOUR APPLICATION IN BY DEADLINES (WE WILL START ASSIGNING SPACES AS APPLICATIONS ARE RETURNED AND APPROVED)

    In certain areas vendors will not be
    able to park behind their booth. Remember if you are able to park behind your booth be courteous of the vendor next
    to you.

    It is agreed that exhibitors will assume all responsibility for any loss, damage or injury that they shall have or cause and they shall indemnify and hold harmless the CITY OF SLOCOMB/SLOCOMB TOMATO FESTIVAL Committee from all
    liabilities that may ensure from whatever cause. “THE SLOCOMB TOMATO FESTIVAL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ANY VENDOR OR EXHIBITOR NOT MEETING THE GUIDELINES STATED IN THE RULES AND REGULATIONS PROVIDED, TO BE AN ACCEPTED PARTICIPANT”.

    Please read all the below information regarding our rules and regulations.

    You must read and sign the "I Have Read And Agree With All Terms and Conditions" in order to receive approval for you request.

    With your signature you are agreeing with that you did read and fully understand the terms and conditions on this site and will be bound by such.

  • Setup Instructions

    SET UP WILL BE SATURDAY ONLY, AS THE VENDOR LOCATION HAS CHANGED. YOU WILL BE PERMITTED TO THE VENDOR AREA AS EARLY AS 4AM AND MUST BE SET UP BY 8AM. IF YOU ARE NOT SET UP BY 8AM ON SATURDAY YOU
    WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE. (“ARRIVAL TIME NEEDS TO BE NOTED….WE MUST KNOW WHEN YOU PLAN TO ARRIVE ON THE FESTIVAL GROUNDS”). PLEASE FILL IN YOUR TIME OF ARRIVAL…….YOUR TIME OF ARRIVAL IS VERY
    IMPORTANT PLEASE GIVE US YOUR TIME ON THIS APPLICATION, Motor Homes, NO ELECTRIC OR WATER PROVIDED, will have a designated area to park (not behind booth space).

    You must tell us if you are bringing a MotorHome before the day of the festival. Rules have been made for the safety of festival attendees especially (children).


    PLEASE understand & help us as we attempt to make our festival a safe one for
    all concerned…Thank You. 

    After you unload you will have to park in the designated vendor parking lot. THERE WILL BE NO VEHICLES PERMITTED IN THE NEW VENDOR AREA … Please be courteous, don't block other vendor’s space while you unload your items
    you will be selling. If someone is blocking your space please contact Don White ..We can work all problems out if we work together to solve THE PROBLEM!!!

  • NO SHARP OBJECTS/OR ITEMS THAT ARE CONSIDERED HARMFUL OR A THREAT TO ANYONE CAN BE SOLD (unless approved by committee). If, not approved by committee you will be asked to close booth and you will forfeit your fees & privileges 

    FOOD VENDORS IN FOOD COURT – DO NOT ATTEMPT TO HOOK UP YOUR ELECTRICITY. WE HAVE AN ELECTRICIAN IN THE PARK) TO TAKE CARE OF HOOK-UPS. YOU WILL NEED TO FURNISH YOUR OWN BREAKER. THE TYPE SHOULD BE AN OLD STYLE “SQUARE D” OR A “GE” COMPATIBLE DEPENDS ON WHERE YOU WILL HOOK-UPAT FOOD COURT. YOU WILL ALSO NEED AT LEAST 100’ HEAVY DUTY CORD TO CARRY YOUR LOAD.

    ALL MENU’S - FOOD AND SPECIALTY’S MUST BE POSTED FOR THE PUBLIC TO SEE. ALL FOOD VENDORS NOT IN A SELF CONTAINED TRAILER AND USING A TENT FOR COVER WILL HAVE TO HAVE A COVER ON THE GROUND AS WELLAS BEING CLOSE TO RUNNING WATER AND IN THE FOOD COURT AREA.


    FOOD VENDORS, SPECIALTY BOOTHS WILL HAVE TO HAVE THEIR APPLICATION IN BY NO LATER THAN YOUR DEADLINE DATE OF APPLICATION. THIS WILL GIVE YOU TIME TO GET YOUR PERMIT FROM THE HEALTH DEPT. HEALTH DEPT. THEY WILL HAVE TO APPROVE YOUR TRAILER/OR TENT AND WE WILL NEED
    A COPY OF YOUR PERMIT FROM THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT WITH YOUR RETURNED APPLICATION

    1. UNLOADING & ARRIVAL TIMES LOCATED ON BACKSIDE OF PAGE 1 OF THIS APPLICATION.
    2.  TO BE ANNOUNCED AT A LATER DATE: JUDGING OF BOOTHS.
    3. CHECK-IN TABLE WILL BE LOCATED ON PAVED ROAD INSIDE MAIN GATE NEAR FLAGPOLES ON FRIDAY. SOMEONE WILL SHOW YOU TO YOUR BOOTH SPACE.
    4. NO MOTOR HOMES BEHIND BOOTH SPACE **NOTE ON APPLICATION IF YOU HAVE A MOTOR HOME OR AN EXTRA VEHICLE……….
    5. YOU WILL RECEIVE A BOOTH/VENDOR STICKER TO UNLOAD YOUR ITEMS.YOU MUST PARK YOUR VEHICLE IN THE DESIGNATED VENDOR PARKING SPOT ONCE UNLOADED. VENDORS
      MOTOR HOMES WILL HAVE A WINDOW STICKER TO PARK IN THEIR DESIGNATED AREA.
    6. REQUEST FOR SPECIFIC SPACE WILL BE HONORED IF POSSIBLE. IF, TWO SPACES ARE REQUESTED AND YOU ONLY HAD ONE SPACE LAST YEAR YOU MAY HAVE TO MOVE TO ANOTHER AREA FOR THE TWO SPACES NEEDED. BE SURE TO MAKE NOTATION ON YOUR APPLICATION IF YOU NEED TWO SPACES.
    7. THERE WILL BE NO FOOD OR ANY OTHER SALEABLES CARRIED THROUGH THE FESTIVAL CROWD FOR SELL. THE HEALTH DEPT PROHIBITS THE FOOD AND FESTIVAL COMMITTEE PROHIBITS OTHER SELLS BEING CARRIED THROUGH THE CROWD.
    8. EMERGENCY ROAD IS FOR MEDICAL EMERGENCY, POLICE, FESTIVAL WORKERS, GARBAGE PICKUPAND SUPPLIERS.
    9. NO EXCHANGE OF SPACES UNLESS YOU CONTACT BOOTH CHAIRPERSON.
    10. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR REPORTING YOUR TAXES OF 9% TO THE STATE OF ALABAMA.
    11. ALL VENDORS BOOTH SHOULD REMAIN OPEN DURING SATURDAY AFTERNOONACTIVITIES. IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY, YOU WILL NEED TO CONTACT : JESSICA STARLING

    FOOD (IN FOOD COURT) & SPECIALTY ITEM (S) ALL WILL HAVE TO POST PRICES FOR FESTIVAL ATTENDEES CONVENIENCE………OUR BOOTH COMMITTEE MEMBERS ARE TRYING TO BE FAIR TO ALL VENDORS, WE WANT EVERYONE TO HAVE EQUAL OPPORTUNITY TO SELL THEIR FOOD OR OTHER ITEMS. WE HAVE ALL COOKED FOODS IN AN AROUND THE FOOD COURT THIS MAKES IT FAIR FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT HAVE A SELF-CONTAINED TRAILER. THE FOOD COURT IS A GREAT PLACE FOR THE CROWD TO GATHER AND RELAX.

    Vendors SEELING FROM TRAILER OR WHO NEED A SPECIAL SPACE/DISABLED WILL BE PUT IN AN AREA WHERE THERE IS NO CURBING

    ICE MAY OR MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE IN PARK AND WILL BE ANNOUNCED FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE AT A LATER DATE

    SPORTS DRINK OR WATER

    THE SLOCOMB TOMATO FESTIVAL WILL BE THE ONLY VENDOR SELLING WATER AND TOMATO SANDWICHES AND FRIED GREEN TOMATOES. THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.

    THANKS FOR BEING AN IMPORTANT PART OF THE SLOCOMB TOMATO FESTIVAL 2023. WE APPRECIATE YOU TAKING TIME OUT OF YOUR BUSY SCHEDULE TO COME AND BE A WORKING PART OF OUR ANNUAL FESTIVAL. YOU ARE AN IMPORTANT PART AND YOUR PARTICIPATION HELPS TO MAKE OUR FESTIVAL A SUCCESS YEAR AFTER YEAR

    Upon signing this application and also upon receipt my complete payment, I have acknowledged that I have read all rules & regulations stated on this page. I do agree to the terms and conditions set by the Slocomb Tomato Festival  Committee and will abide by them. I further agree to keep my booth open until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday afternoon ( I understand I cannot leave until end of Festival Saturday night due to pedestrian and lack of egress due to festival) I understand if I do not comply I risk not being approved for another year and risk being asked to close my booth immediately.
