Operation1Stride is an Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) Program provided FREE to Veterans & First Responders that will help participants to:
- Build Trust
- Reduce Stress
- Increase Confidence
- Expand Self-Awareness
- Improve Self-Esteem
Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) offers the opportunity to interact with horses in an authentic relationship through guided activities. Horses offer direct, honest, and instant feedback, which often allows us to find new ways to better understand ourselves and others. In each session, you will engage in structured unmounted activities with your horse. This is an exciting program and experience that we are honored to share!
The program will take place at InStride Ranch which is located at 1629 Ranch Road in Nokomis, Florida. No previous experience with horses is necessary to realize these benefits. The program meets once a week for 6 weeks to include an Orientation that takes place the Monday prior to the program start. This Orientation is required as a part of the Operation1Stride Program to include staff introductions, barn tour and safety review.
