  • LEVEL 3/SENIOR THERAPIST

    *Displays leadership and is proactive (ie. presents at a conference, co-author an article, teach within ProWorkshops)

    *Supervises therapy departments/staff/facility or manages group program

    *Lead a staff meeting (any type)

    *Creates innovative programming

    *Continues to receive and provide mentorship

    *Meets requirements of Level 2 Therapist

     

    LEVEL 2 THERAPIST

    *Displays independence in all aspects (treatment planning, caseload management, etc)

    *Reports submitted without review

    *Fieldwork Educator at least twice per year

    *Can do initial evaluations 

    *Uses sound clinical judgment to request mentorship for complex cases and for report review of initial evaluations

    *Independent with scheduling aspects of their caseload (makeups, re-evals, productivity, tracking authorizations)

    *Independent with documentation for caseload (treatment notes, progress reports, re-evaluations are completed within time expectations)

    *May supervise 1-2 therapists & provide clinical mentorship to any staff

    *Incorporates feedback 

    *Incorporates knowledge from continuing education courses

    *Plans/organizes 2-3 presentations/inservices at discipline specific meetings per year

    *Continues to receive mentorship

     

    LEVEL 1 THERAPIST

    *Displays initiative and is an active learner

    *Weekly/bi-weekly supervision meetings

    *Reports require review by supervisor

    *Re-evaluations/assessments require support from supervisor

    *Initial evaluations with support from supervisor

    *Incorporates feedback with minimal support

    *Incorporates knowledge from continuing education courses with support

    *Mentorship provided by all supervisors and owners
