Sky Lodge Christian Camp holds to the Biblical teachings of Historic Christianity. What does this mean? Here are the basics… the Bible teaches that we all sin. Sin is not following God's laws found in the Bible. Sin will eventually be punished, and instead of God punishing us, he sent Jesus to die for our sin. God raised him from the dead, Jesus and the Holy Spirit enable us to live a life that is not addicted to sin. We confess that we are sinners, turn from our sin, and ask God's forgiveness. When we die we will join Jesus in Heaven. So, how should we live? Many churches and groups have different guidelines. We believe the Bible teaches that sex is to be for marriage between a man and woman which rules out pornography or premarital sex . We believe that abusing our bodies, which God created, is wrong so we guard against self harm, misuse of alcohol, nicotine or illegal drugs. I hereby authorize Sky Lodge Christian Camp to obtain and/or request information about my criminal history and fingerprints from any entity chosen specifically for conducting this search, to release information regarding any record of charges or convictions contained in its files, or in any criminal file maintained on me, whether said file is a local, state, or national file, and including but not limited to accusations and convictions for crimes committed against minors, to the fullest extent permitted by city, county, state, and federal law. I do release said entities from all liability that may result from any such disclosure made in response to this request. I may revoke this request at any time, but that revocation must be in writing and give 30 days’ notice of same.
