Granite Pond Counseling and Behavioral Health is looking to add both part-time and full-time mental health professionals to our organization. With offices in the Charlestown neighborhood of Boston and in Canton you can choose to practice in the city, the suburbs, remotely (telehealth), or any combination thereof (space/scheduling permitting).
We offer both W-2 positions and Independent Contractor Positions.
Employee (W-2) positions are ideal for those who are looking for more structure and support (set schedule, caseload assignments, policies and procedures, etc).
Independent Contractor positions are more suited to people who are looking to branch off into their own private practice down the road. Independent contractors set their own working hours, provide their own computer and supplies. Contract options may include trainings and support geared toward private practice management, credentialing, billing support, HIPAA compliant IT systems (EHR, Internal Email, Virtual Phone Service), and office space. Contractors are responsible for paying their own taxes, but are also able to deduct qualified expenses (as defined by the IRS).
Our part time openings (about 20 hrs./wk.; negotiable) are perfect opportunities for people looking for flexibility in their schedules, looking to supplement their current position, or retired/semi-retired clinicians who want to stay active in the profession. Our full-time clinicians routinely schedule 30 hrs. or more a week in a variety of ways – days, evenings, weekends – whatever suits their needs best, depending on office availability.
Our current clinicians span a range of specialties: sexual health and wellness, problematic sexual behavior (actively looking to add in this area), trauma, marriage and family, mood disorders, grief, autism spectrum disorders, and more. We are always looking to add additional areas of specialty as well as developing new programs to offer (groups, for example).
Our offices are clean, modern, well-furnished, and comfortable. We are a paperless practice with a fully integrated electronic health record system. As a member of our organization you will have access to patient referrals. We offer the support of a team environment and help you to establish your own caseload.
We are especially interested in clinicians who possess Spanish and other non-English language abilities and bring cultural competency to the practice as our client base draws from a wide range of backgrounds.
We are an equal opportunity organization and do not discriminate based on sex, race, color, age, national origin, religion, disability, genetic information, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity/reassignment, citizenship, pregnancy or maternity, or veteran status.
Applicants may be either fully independently licensed to provided mental health services in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (or license-eligible), for example: (LMHC, LPC), (LMFT), (LCSW), (LICSW), (PhD, PsyD, EdD), (APRN), or have completed all of their graduate coursework and be working toward licensure.
