Please read about North Manitou Island before continuing to register. We will be offering two concurrent trips for Eagle Quest.
Group 1 will walk at least 4 miles every day while carrying their packs. The group with follow the main trail around the entirety of the island.
Group 2 will set up camp near Lake Manitou and take day-trips without their packs to explore and fish before joining group 1 for the last night.
For both options, you will be responsible for carrying all of your own food, clothing, and supplies for the entire week. The island is completely rustic and our shelter is the tent or hammock we carry with us. Besides an outhouse by the dock, there are no bathrooms on the island. We will ONLY be near the outhouse when we first arrive and right before we leave. Drinking water will be obtained by filtering water from Lake Michigan and Lake Manitou. There is very limited cell coverage on the island. Communication with emergency services is available through a satellite transmitter.
