• The patient must fast for 8 hours PRIOR to appointment.  If you take medication in the mornings, you may do so with a small sip of water only, preferably 2 hours prior to scheduled appointment time.

• You must have a driver to bring you to the appointment and get you home safely. Please make sure that the driver is aware that they must stay on the premises for the entirety of the procedure. Post-op instructions will be discussed with the driver at this time.  We are unable to release you to any Taxi, Uber, Lyft, etc drivers after your procedure. 

• Wear comfortable clothing with a short sleeve t-shirt so we have access to your arm to monitor vitals. Blankets are provided during procedure. 

• Ladies, please have at least ONE fingernail (on your RIGHT hand) free from gel, polish or acrylic so we can place an oxygen reader on that finger. 

• Make sure that you have plenty of soft foods on hand to enjoy after surgery. (mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, baked chicken, ice cream, etc) Nothing with seeds and please do not use a straw for at least two weeks.
