BAS Ayurveda Immersion

We are delighted to receive your application for the Boston Ayurveda School’s Ayurveda Immersion program. It is a guided 108 hour self-paced course with access to the student portal that contains our video syllabus and content library, and one-on-one coaching. The program is an experiential deep-dive into Ayurveda’s timeless solutions for health promotion and disease prevention.

Students are onboarded on the first of each month. 

An Ayurveda Initial Consultation and Follow-up with recommendations and an herbal plan, is recommended but not required with your Immersion. Sessions dedicated to lifestyle, diet education, and sattvic practices, including Ayurvedic yoga therapy and body treatments.

This training is about the “whole” individual and all its complex parts. We explore human growth, psychology, and spiritual development, but in everyday ways. Incorporating beneficial daily practices along with a healthy and well-balanced plant-based diet will be the core of our studies. In order to truly understand the reasons behind the practices, we will explore the philosophy, history, and principles through a first-hand experience.

PAYMENT OPTIONS:

1. Payment in full: $170 Administrative and Technology Fee, followed by the remaining balance of $1,550 paid in full.
2. 4 Month Payment Plan: $170 Administrative and Technology Fee, followed by four individual payments of $388.

Complete this application and the program Enrollment Agreement. Upon completing both forms, the $170 Administrative & Technology fee are processed using the provided credit card on file.

5. Fill in your information and place a card on file. If the system does not give you the option to place a card on file, please give us a call at (617) 564-2172.

Upon receiving your onboarding paperwork, our Enrollment Specialist will reach out to introduce you to your lead faculty member, to help set up payment, and to provide access to the online learning modules. 

 

Application Process: Applicants are required to submit a completed Personalized Ayurveda Immersion application and dual-signed Enrollment Agreement signed by both the student and the Education Director of Boston Ayurveda School. Once the Enrollment Agreement is signed by both parties and the appilcation is complete,  the $170 Administrative and Technology Fee is processed using a provided credit card. In the event that a student is not accepted, the $170 fee will be refunded if already paid.

Equipment Requirement: Students must have access to a computer with camera and microphone, internet connection and the ability to join video conferences. Students will also be prompted to purchase a copper tongue scraper, Nasya oil, garshana glove, tridoshic massage oil, The Everyday Ayurveda Cookbook by Kate O’Donnell by Kate O'Donnell, and applicable herbs recommended by the Master Wellness Plan lead faculty.

Cancellation & Refund Policy: A student may withdraw from this program at any time, and refunds will be made according to M.G.L. Chapter 255, Section 13K (see refund schedule at the end of this document).

Grievance Policy: If a trainee has a grievance and believes that her/his rights have been violated, a written complaint must be submitted to the program Director, who has one week to determine next steps.

Accepted and enrolling students will sign an Enrollment Agreement with the Boston Ayurveda School, which includes this refund policy:

1. You may terminate this agreement at any time.
2. If you terminate this agreement within five days you will receive a refund of all monies paid, provided that you have not commenced the program.
Withdraw before the 5th day after date both parties have signed the contract: refund of all monies paid.
3. If you subsequently terminate this agreement prior to the commencement of the program, you will receive a refund of all monies paid, less the actual reasonable administrative costs described in paragraph 7. Withdraw before receiving access to Part 1: refund of all monies paid beyond the $170 Administrative and Technology Fee.
4. If you terminate this agreement during the first quarter of the program, you will receive a refund of at least seventy-five percent of the tuition, less the actual reasonable administrative costs described in paragraph 7. Withdraw before receiving access to Part 2: $0 refund for students on payment plan. Students paid in full receive a refund of $1,776.
5. If you terminate this agreement during the second quarter of the program, you will receive a refund of at least fifty per cent of the tuition, less the actual reasonable administrative costs described in paragraph 7. Withdraw before receiving access to Part 3: $0 refund for students on payment plan. Students paid in full receive a refund of $1,184.
6. If you terminate this agreement during the third quarter of the program, you will receive a refund of at least twenty-five percent of the tuition, less the actual reasonable administrative costs described in paragraph 7. Withdraw before receiving access to Part 4: $0 refund for students on payment plan. Students paid in full receive a refund of $592.
7. If you terminate this agreement after the initial five day period, you will be responsible for actual reasonable administrative costs incurred by the school to enroll you and to process your application, which administrative costs shall not exceed fifty dollars or five percent of the contract price, whichever is less. A list of such administrative costs is attached hereto and made a part of this agreement. Administrative and Technology Fee equals $170.
8. If you wish to terminate this agreement, you must inform the school in writing of your termination, which will become effective on the day, such writing is mailed.
9. The school is not obligated to provide any refund if you terminate this agreement during the fourth quarter of the program. Withdraw after receiving access to Part 4: no monies refunded.

By signing below, I understand that in order to receive a Certificate of Completion in the Personalized Ayurveda Immersion, I must complete all the required study hours, including the Master Wellness Plan, pay all tuition and fees, and pass a final exam with a score of at least 70%. I understand that the program directors reserve the right to ask me to leave the program if my behavior is inappropriate or unethical.

I have read and acknowledge the Training Policies above and submit my application accepting these terms. Further, I understand Down Under Yoga LLC will occasionally photograph or video trainings and may use whole or composite images, without prior approval from me, in newsletters, promotions, manuals or books or any other lawful purposes as determined by Down Under Yoga LLC. I also understand that footage or quotations from me, both written or verbal, may be used in the publicity of trainings and all purposes described above.
