Florida Education & Research Foundation Academic Scholarship for Excellence in Senior Care Application

[FALA Foundation Board members, FALA Board members, FALA staff, and/or their family members are not eligible for this scholarship.]

November 30, 2025 for Spring 2026 Scholarships

June 30, 2026 for Fall 2026 Scholarships

The Florida Assisted Living Research & Education Foundation (FALA Foundation or FALERF) is dedicated to advancing our mission of supporting excellence in senior care. Through this scholarship program, we aim to invest in the education and development of individuals who embody the attributes essential to our mission.

The Foundation awards multiple $1,000 academic scholarships annually to employees of FALA Facility Members who are enrolled in accredited college or university degree programs. These scholarships are designed to support fields crucial to senior care, such as nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, gerontology, nutrition/dietary, or clinical social work. Additionally, we may consider other aging or health-related fields, however, preference will be given to those degree programs first listed.

Scholarship recipients represent the values and dedication to excellence that are central to our mission. They are individuals committed to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and contributing to the advancement of senior care practices. As such, recipients of this scholarship play a vital role in furthering our mission and embodying the attributes we hold dear.

Recipients may receive no more than one FALA Foundation scholarship per calendar year.
