    HFM is excited to host our legislative advocacy event, Lansing Days, in-person on Tuesday, March 24th and Wednesday, March 25, 2026.

     We hope YOU will join us in educating the legislature on bleeding disorders by sharing your unique stories.

    Tuesday

    Dinner and legislative training at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center in East Lansing. 

    Wednesday

     Travel in groups to meet with your elected representatives to discuss the needs of the bleeding disorders community. 
    Specific policy issues to be discussed will be determined closer to the event date.

     

           This event is free of cost. 

          We invite members of the Michigan bleeding disorders community to apply to attend HFM Lansing Days.

  • Thank you for your interest in HFM's Lansing Days. This event is limited to individuals with bleeding disorders and their immediate family members. Visit www.hfmich.org for other opportunities to support the Michigan bleeding disorders community. 

  • It is important that you provide home addresses for EACH attendee. This is how HFM will find your representatives and schedule meetings on your behalf. Thank you!

  • Hotel Accommodations

    HFM is happy to provide overnight accommodations at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center, East Lansing, on Tuesday, March 24th at no charge to you.

  • Transportation

    Please be aware that all participants will be asked to provide their own transportation between the Kellogg Hotel and the Capitol Building. 
  • A staff member will be in touch regarding transportation closer to the event.

  • Attendees are expected to attend the Tuesday evening dinner and training. If you are unable to arrive by Tuesday, March 24th please contact Zach Ryan at zryan@hfmich.org or at 734.961.3516.

    It is HFM’s pleasure to host community members at various events throughout the year. By documenting these events through photo and/or video we hope to maintain a historical record of community activities, share photos for future events or activities, and promote fundraising efforts that support HFM events and services. It is a joy to reminisce when looking through photos, we hope to preserve community memories and moments.

  • Community Member Agreement

    -Notification Requirement: If you or your group registers for Lansing Days 2026 and later realize you are unable to attend, please notify Zach Ryan at zryan@hfmich.org as soon as possible. -No-Show Policy: If HFM is not notified of your cancellation and you do not attend: Future Event Requirement: A credit card guarantee will be required for the next HFM event you wish to attend. -No-Show Fee: Registration fees will be charged to the card on file if you fail to show up or notify HFM in advance. We believe offering respect and consideration to fellow HFM community members, speakers, volunteers, and staff is important. We are grateful for your understanding and support.
