Note as of 9/20/23
- Monovalent (original) mRNA COVID-19 vaccines are no longer recommended for use.
- The first set of bivalent vaccines released during fall of 2022 are no longer recommended for use.
- An updated 2023-2024 formulation of the COVID-19 vaccines has been approved and recommended for ages 6 months and up regardless of vaccination history. You are eligible for this updated vaccine as long as it has been at least 2 months since you've received any other COVID-19 vaccine. (Note: pharmacies are currently only allowed to administer vaccines for ages 3 and up. For younger children and infants, please consult your pediatrician.)
- The updated formulation includes the Comirnaty (Pfizer) and Spikevax (Moderna) 2023-2024 vaccines.
