The coiled, flexible duct that runs out of the dryer is called a transition duct. This allows the dryer to be placed relatively close to the rigid exhaust duct and also makes it easy to move the dryer around a short distance for cleaning or maintenance.

Suitability of System for Continued Use: This inspection report is designed to inform you about your chimney system so that you can make educated decisions on continued usage, possible upcoming repairs and the longevity of the system.
